Originally opened under the name EuroDisney, in 1992, Disneyland Paris is a huge holiday resort in Chessy, 30km (18 miles) east of Paris. To say that it is popular with children is a massive understatement.

This theme park, like its siblings in the United States and
Japan, is the realisation of one man's dream, a dream of creating a fantasy
world where young and old alike can enjoy themselves. The resort is complete
with hotels, a 27-hole golf course, Disney Village entertainment, shopping
complex and camp site.

By rail: (1) RER: Marne-la-Vallée-Chessy; (2) TGV from Lille, and other main cities.
By air: Shuttle from Orly and Charles-de-Gaulle
By car: Autoroute A4, direction Metx, exit at J14 and follow signs for Disneyland. Parking on site is €15 per vehicle.
